Pige SUP (Stand Up Paddle) is for girls only at an age of 14-19 years with a willing to learn the technical sills, paddle long distance, and want to challenge themselves with some fun races. Fun is what keeps them on it, and we will do much more than just SUP in this class.
SUP is an extremely rewarding activity. Besides spending time with friends and family doing a worthwhile activity, stand up paddle boarding has the potential to benefit you on a personal level. The girls will be divided into two groups (Group 1: 14-16 years, and Group 2: 17-19 years). While it may look effortless to glide through the water while standing on a board, the act is surprisingly engaging.
Paddling, while standing on top of a board on water, requires a great deal of coordination. Various muscles in your lower and upper body must work in unison to keep you standing, as well as propel you through the water. Due to this, SUP has also been seen as a legitimate way to develop strength, correct posture and improve coordination. All this, while enjoying nature at the same time. No wonder it has caught on around the world, there are numerous benefits for everyone.
